"2007 was a record year for Polaris World" says Chairman

Polaris World founder and Chairman Pedro Garcia has revealed record sales results for the company in 2007

Speaking at a gala dinner staged at Murcia's Intercontinental Hotel, Mar Menor Golf Resort & Spa, to celebrate the award of Golden Partner status to a an elite group of agents form across Europe, Polaris World Chairman Pedro Garcia revealed that property sales worth more than €475m had been achieved in 2007.

In what was a record year for the company, sales were agreed on 2,950 of its properties, an increase of nearly 400 units on the 2006 total which itself had previously set a record. The 2007 figures take the total number of properties now sold by Polaris World on its luxury golf resorts in the Murcia region of south east Spain to more than 11,000 and cement its status as Europe's leading developer of residential tourism property.

Mr Garcia stated his confidence that positive results can be achieved in 2008 and announced that a new €7m TV advertising campaign will commence in March, again featuring Polaris World's now celebrity President, Jose Luis Hernandez. The campaign will focus on the exceptional value of properties at the company's Condado de Alhama Golf Resort where show homes of the luxury apartments famously referred to by Mr Hernandez in his last TV campaign as being available “from just £80,000” are now fully open and set to become an excellent sales tool for 2008.
