La Torre Golf Resort selected by the Spanish Tennis Federation to host Spain's Davis Cup semi final tie against Israel next month.

The Davis Cup semi final tie between Spain and Israel will be staged at the Polaris World La Torre Golf Resort between 18th and 20th September and will be played on a clay court, subject to a successful International Tennis Federation site visit. Capacity for 12,000 spectators will be provided.
Spain has won all three previous meetings with Israel, which has one just one rubber in those three ties. The last time that Murcia hosted a Davis Cup tie was in 2000, when Spain defeated Italy in a World Group first round tie.
Spain has won its last 16 home Davis Cup ties and its last 18 on clay in the competition. It has played all three of its ties this year at home and could play a fourth at home if it and Czech Republic advance to the final.
Israel is playing his first-ever Davis Cup, having stunned Russia in the quarterfinals in July.
