21st October 2009: POLARIS WORLD OPENS NEW GOLF COURSES
Polaris World is opening up a further 36 holes of golf across three of their Golf Resorts in Murcia, Spain.
October 15th saw the opening of 9 additional holes at the Mar Menor Golf Resort, bringing the course up to a full 18 hole, par 72. The new holes look very challenging with long par 5s and a huge lake surrounded by 4 new fairways. For a limited period until 15th November, golfers can enjoy a discount offer on green fees. November 15th will see the opening of the prestigious new 18 hole golf course at Condado de Alhama. This is the first Jack Nicklaus Signature Course, designed by the man himself to open on the Polaris World Resorts. It promises to be the best Polaris World Course to date and the resort is now becoming more established. The town centre has opened a large bar and supermarket and an Italian restaurant is nearing completion. The existing sports facilities (tennis, paddle tennis, squash and basketball) have been further enhanced by two new football pitches.
December will see the opening of the first 9 holes at Las Terrazas de la Torre with a further nine holes scheduled to open in the spring of 2010.
