21 January 2010: Construction begins at Polaris World Hacienda Riquelme Resort Town Centre
Major construction work has started on the restoration of the original Hacienda building to provide the town centre facilities at the Polaris World Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort.
ETOSA, a major Spanish building and restoration company, are reported to have arrived at Hacienda Riquelme Golf Resort to complete the resort's town centre construction. Portable cabins and heavy machinery have been delivered and workers are now on site. Community representatives believe that new facilities will be available from May/June 2010.
Polaris World obtained final planning permission to convert the original Hacienda building in September 2009. Preparatory work has taken place since then and ETOSA's arrival sees the appointment of a specialist construction company to complete the works.
The town centre development is of course good news for Hacienda Riquelme residents and it also offers an extra incentive for new investors to enter the market at a time when properties are available from under €95,000 , some with 90% mortgages.
