About the Resort
The Condado de Alhama resort is planned to consist of five self sufficient sub resorts, each with a private town centre, built around 3 Nicklaus designed golf courses. Each resort’s centre will include shops, bars and restaurants. Villas and apartments will be built to the highest specification and the resorts will feature extensive green areas and lakes. In addition, a larger main town centre located by a lake will include a full range of facilities including banks, medical centre, supermarkets and a five star Intercontinental Hotel. The resort is has a beautiful location in fertile plains to the south of the city of Murcia, around 15 minutes from Puerto Mazarron on the delightful Costa Calida and within easy reach of the Polaris family of resorts.
About the Area
Impressive cliffs, endless white sand beaches, lively ports and wild, crystal clear water coves, 320 days of sun a year and a yearly average temperature of 21ºC. This is Murcia and the Costa Calida, the ideal place to relax all year round. The area has excellent road links with the rest of Spain and Polaris resorts are placed close to main routes between the cities of Murcia and Cartagena. The region is easily accessible via daily routes into Alicante and San Javier airports, and a new international airport will open in 2007/8. New rail links from Madrid will cut the journey time to around two hours - all very positive indicators when considering the potential for tourism and price growth, and property rental opportunities.
